wow is only a caculation game, no real skill is needed, so its no real competition game only a game for the mass and its only for the money, and the public mass will not accept esport as game when they see button smashing pocket calculator game that a 6year old kid can play.

And Counterstrike is not even better, with his lucky spray and pray, gameplay, so that evry no aim no brain gamer can make a frag.

Well, daBONDi then what seperates the top players in both cs and wow from the rest? That they are simply better on smashing their keyboard then the normal player? Cuz if it's not skilled based you can basicly just sign up for a tournament and randomly win it?

Where can I find an accurate schedule? The regular schedule is not accurate, because of a delay(?)
I am only interested in the QL-tournament, if that makes it easier.

A competition Game is, a minimum percent of luck in gameplay(cs is not, the shots are a calculation of random hits, so the luckfactor is extreme high) and a minimum percent of precalculation of the game(wow is not, you only win because of the precalucated maximum damage and the luck of an random number generator). So there is a minimum factor of a skill from the athlet himself(thinking, mousecordination,prediction(exclude cs :>)).

But we can discuse this for hours, but im only sad of the factor that wow is taken over quake, and quake is like the kingclass in esports, but its only about the numbers and the money so quake is out.

You will not see Quakelive rise like counterstrike or WOW because of the High amount of Skill from the Athlet is required to play at high level, and a high amount of skill from the athlet is required ot play at mid level.

So Quake will loose in player numbers aka MONEYYYY!, doesn't matter if it is the better competition game.

im only disapointet from esl......

and quake is just predicting... just stfu if you dont have any sense or talent for other games excluding ur quake. thats just as you'd say that poker is only luck because its randomized which cards you get... but as we all know poker is quite skilled or why do always the same people sit at the last tables?

if you put time and effort in wow, you will become disapointet of the factor that you can calculate the winner of evry game when you now the lvl and equipment before the game starts,based on the equipment, because they use of the spells is always the same......, or some athlet make a wrong call of an spell :-)(what a good athlet don't should do...)

Try to play quake 1on1 at high level and you will see what i mean.....

if you want to discuse this topic realy than write like a guy with a brain.....
and no "go play in chess moron"

if u want to play a cs game on a high level you will see that it wont be more easy than quake... and also wow even if i dislike that game requires a lot of tactical skill and variance

daBONdi, a few words of advice, turn off the Wow stream, stop overthinging this, its a bit of fun, a lot of people play Wow, and I for one really enjoy playing and watching Wow arena, I would also like to remind you, its hard to miss I know, but this is not quake live TV, if you can't tolerate any other games on the stream, then I’d suggest you stop visiting this site, it only seems to make you angry :(

slayer you are 18 years old, you don't play at a time before online gaming was populary.

You play not because you win some money or get some flame on each other, there was somthing like deep respect.... that is what im missing all since the counterstrike aera beginn.

The gameproducer only focus on money and a easy game, and i think esport casting shouldn't be based on how many players play a game .... (specialiesd look on WCG(Kid's playground).

ps.: i don't play only quake :-)

and what has that to do with the fact that you wont need skill for wow and cs?

could be that your older than me but i play cs since 1.3 and i think i know what respect means. but i dont know if i can expect the same from you which is trying to make fun of games whichs materia you havent experienced or not particular...

in fact i know what it means to sit around with your friends and play in LAN with some beer and pizza

Well, today 3 out of 7 games will be QL if they are holding on to the timetable and if there are no DDoS attacks anymore..
